A: At this time gift certificates can be only be ordered online at gifts.peninsula.com or purchased from one of our hotels.
Q: Can the gift certificates be used at any Peninsula hotel?
A: Gift certificate purchases for a particular hotel are only redeemable at that location.
Q: What can the gift certificates be used for?
A: Peninsula Gifts can be used for facility managed by The Peninsula Hotels such as accommodations, spa services, dining, limousine transfers and merchandise at The Peninsula Boutique. Any charge that can be applied to a hotel folio can be paid for with the gift certificate. This includes taxes and gratuities. To avoid any possible disappointment, we suggest that gift certificates are presented at the time of check-in.
Q: When will my credit card be charged?
A: When you order online, your credit card will be charged after you click "Confirm Order" on the checkout window of your completed order form. When you order in person at a Peninsula hotel, your credit card will be charged at the time of signature.
Q: How long does it take for a gift certificate to be delivered?
A: The delivery time will depend on the delivery service you choose. Within the Americas there are three choices: Overnight service (within 24 hours), Expedited service (for delivery in 2-3 business days) or Standard service (for delivery in 5-7 business days). International orders are delivered via courier service (for delivery in 3-4 business days). Please note times do not account for weekends and public holidays.
Q: Can I purchase more than one gift certificate?
A: Yes, you can purchase multiple gift certificates in various denominations for multiple recipients. For order at more than one hotel, please use additional order forms.
Q: Does the full value of the gift certificate have to be redeemed at once?
A: Yes, the full value of the gift certificate must be used. If the gift certificate amount is not completely utilized the difference will not be returned.
Q: Do gift certificates have an expiry date?
A: Peninsula Gifts are valid for one year except where local laws prevail.
Q: Can gift certificates be redeemed for cash?
A: Peninsula gifts cannot be redeemed for cash and should be used for services at the designated Peninsula hotel.
Q: Can I return a gift certificate?
A: Gift certificates are non-refundable.
Q: What do I do if my gift certificate is lost or stolen?
A: . If the gift certificate is lost or stolen, please report it to gift certificate customer service at issuing hotel.
Q: What happens if I find a gift certificate that I reported lost or stolen?
A: You can discard it as it will have been voided and the replacement certificate will have a new serial number.
